The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually happening.
